Overlay Size Specifications
When building your overlays, save your files as transparent PNGs to the sizes specified above using your favourite image creating program.
PNG format supports the use of transparency which allows you to see the broadcast behind the overlays depending on the opacity chosen while creating the graphics.
JPG format can be used if you don't need transparency in your overlays.

You can build video overlays - lower thirds and watermarks are supported. See below for detailed video encoding setting information.
Video Encoding Settings
For best results, videos that will be used as part of a broadcast on STAGE TEN should be encoded using the following settings:
- File type: MP4 or WebM
Optimal video settings:
- Codec: H.264
- Profile: Baseline
- Level: 41
- Keyframe Interval: 1 keyframe/second
- B-Frames: 0
- Bitrate Range: 1500 - 4000 Kbps (1.5 - 4.0 Mbps)
- Resolution (Maximum): 1280x720 (720p)
- Frame Rate: 30 FPS
Optimal audio settings:
- Codec: AAC
- Profile: LC
- Sample Rate: 48000
- Bitrate: 96 - 160 Kbps
IMPORTANT: Make sure that your video clips have an audio track, even if there is no sound.
